TaxProMax is now Rev360

The Nigeria Revenue Service replaced TaxProMax with Rev360 on 30 April 2026. Here is what changed, what to do, and where to log in.

What is Rev360?

Rev360 is the new self-service tax administration platform run by the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS). It replaces TaxProMax — the portal that the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) used before being restructured into the NRS under the Nigeria Revenue Service Act 2025.

NRS calls the shift “Tax Administration 3.0” — a move away from fragmented, partly-digital, manual-entry filing toward a single portal with real-time reporting, standardised templates, role-based access, and direct integration with CAC and NIMC.

For most taxpayers, the practical effect is simple: one new URL, one new login, and a single dashboard for every tax obligation you have.

Individuals: what to do

  • Check whether you already have a Tax ID

Visit taxid.nrs.gov.ng, choose Individual, and enter your NIN or NINAuth share code. Many Nigerians already have a Tax ID auto-generated through NIMC.

  • Watch your inbox for a Rev360 migration email

If you used TaxProMax before, NRS is sending a temporary password to the email on your old profile. Filing history, balances, and prior returns migrate automatically.

  • Log in at selfservice.nrs.gov.ng

Sign in with your Tax ID and the temporary password. You will be prompted to change the password immediately. Confirm your migrated history before filing anything new.

  • If you have no record on file, register fresh

On selfservice.nrs.gov.ng, choose Individual taxpayer registration, supply your NIN and contact details, and submit. Your Tax ID arrives by email — usually within a few working days.

Businesses: what to do

  • Confirm your category

NRS classifies taxpayers as Medium, Emerging, Government, or Large. Phase 1 onboarding is for Medium and Emerging. If you have not been notified yet, you are in a later phase.

  • Verify your migration credentials

NRS sends a temporary password to the email on your TaxProMax profile. Check the inbox of the account that filed your last return — including spam.

  • First-login security

Change the temporary password on first login. Set up role-based access for any tax consultants — Rev360 supports this natively, so you should no longer share credentials.

  • Reconcile historical data

Cross-check your migrated balances and filing history against your own records. Raise any discrepancies with the NRS before filing your next return.

Bookmark these directly. The old taxpromax.firs.gov.ng address is no longer the route for new filings, and anything that asks you to enter your password on a different domain is not from the NRS.
